Slawek Wanta has over 25 years of experience in the construction Industry. After graduating from Baruch College with a Bachelorʼs of Business Administration, Slawek began his career as a Project Manager for a leading NYC based general contractor.
Motivated by a desire to help clients make their vision a reality, Slawek established FORTE in 2003. With a strong background in management and construction, a dedication to superior client service and a keen eye to detail, Slawek has built a company with a reputation for reliability and excellence.
Slawekʼs main objective is to continually improve FORTEʼs processes and procedures to maintain the differentiation that allows FORTE to produce truly exceptional results for our clients. He is passionate about his work and is dedicated to ensure clients have a smooth and enjoyable experience.
A nature lover and supporter of sustainable practices and design, under Slawekʼs leadership FORTE joined the US Green Building Council and became one of the first General Contractors in New York City to retain an in-house LEED Accredited Professional. Slawek believes in giving back to the community and has supported a multitude of causes over the years. Among them, donating FORTEʼs time and expertise to NYCʼs Kips Bay Decorator Show House (which benefited the Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club) as well as to the High Line project. He has also served on the Board of Trustees of the Kew-Forest School.
